A fabulous place to stay. Only a short walk to the beach and shops. Cat was a great host. We rang to get the key code and was answered straight away. The directions to the house made it easy to find. She recommended lots of things to do and places to go. The house is immaculate and bigger than we expected. There was everything in there that was needed for a home from home stay. There was a problem with the water when we arrived but a quick phone call to Cat, the plumber was round within half an hour to fix the problem. Thank you so much for all your help, what a great host and great house, we will definitely be booking again.

Had a great stay with my family for the Christmas period. Lovely property with a lovely kitchen, was perfect for making Christmas dinner. Great host , thanks x

Hard to find as not made clear it is actually in a side street set back from main road. Received key code only at the last minute. No attempt to create welcoming feeling by providing provisions such as coffee or bread or niceties such as cakes or wine, which has been feature of previous Airbnb stays. Prefer to stay in places where everything easy and intuitive to use but instead had to engage in multiple communications with host with lot of micromanagement rules. Blind in main bedroom inadequate at keeping out light from house next door so hindered sleep. Plug in the bath not watertight so could only run a shallow and temporary bath with great effort. Host lives two hours away so no in person response possible to such issues. Unintentionally neglected to clear up small amount of dog mess. Host wanted to charge us £40 when takes just few minutes to clear up. Also moaned that we left sweet wrappers and oil splashes when we already paid £80 cleaning fee. Stressful stay.

Location good for beach and village centre with Coop just 100 yards away. The village and area is a place that time stood still in the 70s... both good and bad. Friendly but odd at the same time. Cearly the locals care about the village. No litter on the big, empty and safe beach is an instant winner. The house is another throw back, this time to the 80s. Everything is clean and functional but it is dated. I rented out our French Gite for years which was also our holiday home so with some experience: -Not a single sharp kitchen knife -Kitchen scissors blunt and useless -Kitchen lighting usless - not over worktop. -No salt pot -No pepper pot/grinder -One (1) dishwasher tablet -No (0) spare bin bags -Almost empty washing up liquid bottle 1 inch remaining -1.5 toilet rolls in bathrooms, no spares. -Outside Bins full (not the owner fault) -No supplies of any sort -Dysfunctional layout -Stairs narrow and steep Absolutely fine in most respects, fixing small things would raise my rating.
