This lake house is an absolutely gorgeous location — peaceful and serene right on the lake. GREAT wildlife watching (deer, squirrels, turtles, pelicans, storks, cardinals, and more!) The house itself has everything listed and more. It was perfect for our family to set up board games and spread out, while all being together. Comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, and spotlessly clean. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway near Fort Worth, this is definitely the place.

This house on the lake was exactly as advertised! For us, the sunrise and sunset views were the highlights. Beds were very comfortable, linens clean and plenty. Kitchen was very well equipped with a variety of sets of utensils and appliances. Bathrooms were clean and well functioning. Water pressure in showers was a delight! The Great room was truly great with plenty of seating for our group of 12. The shuffle board and foos-ball table were a hit! We used the bar area as a food buffet. This house is far-enough away from urbanization for quiet and privacy, but close-enough for a quick grocery run (walmart about 2 miles away). We didn't see too many of the neighbors. A few minor glitches to be aware of: Uneven heating in the bedrooms, some doors sticking, inconsistent sensor operation of the driveway gate and door knobs being too close to doorframe (a few bruised knuckles initially). But nothing that'd take away from the overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Allen and Elise's place! Exactly what we needed for our large group. We were in town for a family wedding, with members coming from various parts of the country. The house and grounds gave us tons of space to gather, play visit, sleep and even spread out when someone needed a little quiet time. The kids loved the playground! Like haveing a private park just for us! The house was very well equipped with bedding, kitchen, laundry facilities, iron, ice, recreational equipment. Communication super easy and prompt. Everyone loved the house and the time we spent there together and no one wanted to leave. Thank you so much!

This house is perfect for a large group. We really enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood was so peaceful and the view of the lake was amazing! The house and bunkhouse worked perfectly for our group of 12 and the foosball and shuffleboard were a big hit. The bathrooms all with showers, four in the main house and one in the bunkhouse, made mornings so much easier and the extra tables and chairs were also a big plus. Would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Texas!

Nine old college friends came to town for a college football game and our annual fantasy football draft. The house was perfect for us - wifi was reliable, plenty of space in the main living area, TVs, bar, plenty of beds. The bunk house stayed very cool which was important in 100 degree weather. Our hosts were responsive and very detailed in their instructions. The only downside was the ongoing Texas drought, which has significantly lowered the lake level. Obviously not the hosts’ fault, hopefully we get rain again at some point!
