Beach Bungalow was lovely. The house was comfortable, kitchen was stocked nicely, the walk to the beach was short, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Janet, the local host, was lovely and responsive when we had questions. We had a very enjoyable week!

The place was great for families with a complete upstairs and downstairs unit. Water pressure in the shower was great. I loved the bikes and upstairs front porch. Plenty of parking for 3 cars. Great location for walks and bike rides. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage space and kitchen was well stocked. There weren’t enough beach chairs for our group but luckily, one person drove and brought extra chairs so we were ok. The walk to the beach is a bit much for older people and the beach boardwalk has steps so taking the wagon was challenging. We would definitely recommend.

A unique place to find in Sunset because it's a 2 br apartment instead of a full home. Really well equipped, very clean, awesome location. Excellent overall!

I've been going to Sunset Beach since 1990. I've stayed at dozens of homes here on the island; I even got married on the beach here. I wanted to do a mini getaway with my littles. I'm so happy I found this treasure! It's so nice to have an option to not have to rent week to week. The house is beautiful and matched the pictures perfectly. You get the bottom floor, and the neighbor upstairs checked in on us when she saw us and was very sweet. The house is bright, beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything. You have a shared laundry area, which is so nice not to go home with a pile of laundry. Pro tip - Shower wise: bring a towel and clothes, put them near the front door, and when you get back from the beach, grab them and head to the closed in outdoor shower. It's huge and a lot roomier than the indoor one. They have tons of shampoo and conditioner options, so if you forget yours, no biggie. My two kids and I fit in it with room to spare! Hot water worked great out there.
