Checked in late at night and it was difficult to find the entrance to the front desk as signage and online instructions were unclear. Our parking spot that the front desk assigned to us and that we paid for was taken. It was St Patrick’s Day weekend which is a major tourism weekend for Newport. I tried to call the 24/7 number listed in the Airbnb app and the message said that the office was closed. I had to call the corporate number for the Wyndham and was bounced around before I got in touch with our site’s front desk. Even though there were signs all over the lot saying that violators would be towed, the front desk staff said to park outside of the gated entrance in the marina parking. There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience, no offers to assist to bring our luggage up given the new spot was more difficult to maneuver, and no compensation for the issues this caused. The staff in fact sounded annoyed. The car remained in our same spot over a day later.

Our stay was great! The space was so roomy. Looked just like pictures; though, in person, things appeared to be older than expected like door knobs bath tub, walls. This did not affect our stay. It was very clean. There was a strange musty or cooked food smell in the living area (kitchen, dining living room) but the bedrooms did not have an odor. Parking was great, you are assigned 1 parking spot. The view was incredible!! Staff were so friendly. Amenities were nice, we wish we stayed longer so we could have gotten used out of them! We would definitely book this resort again!

We loved this rental. We came to Newport for a wedding weekend for a close family member and almost our whole extended family flew in from all over the U.S, so we were all renting in various places. Our rental was by far the most affordable, spacious, private, and close to everything. This was great for last minute items we forgot to pack and allowed us to bring our toddler to the nearby park to get some energy out. This host was great during the check out process when the front office was unexpectedly closed during check out hours, we dropped our keys and messaged the Airbnb host to let them know so we weren’t charged for a late checkout. They were super easy to work with and we would definitely book here again if we find ourselves planning another Newport trip.
