We had a lovely time overall - a great location in St Agnes, with pretty interior design, but it needs some TLC and thoughtful touches. We tried to ask the host for some basic missing items (scissors, tea towel, sponge, spare loo roll) but I think she had some difficulty receiving messages. I messaged several times and then once received the host did try to help. The hosts were in the house the whole 3 days we stayed but never greeted us. I pointed out a light bulb needed changing, a cupboard door handle fell off and a knife separated from the handle so I think some TLC would be beneficial - although if you're more laissez faire you'll be fine. I'm guessing previous guests may have stolen some items or the cleaner hasn't kept things in good order which is unfortunate, but perhaps the host hopefully will improve the space for the next guests. It's a wonderful location with easy, independent access. I do recommend it overall, but good to consider it might not be fully as described.

Lovely stay at the hide away, walking distance to good restaurants

Stayed for 4 days, absolutely loved it! The whole place was clean and ready for us, so for future guests, here’s my opinion! Pros: . Clean . 5 min walk to town . If you’re into walking, St Agnes is amazing for the SW Coastal path, we walked from st Agnes to Perranporth and got the bus back in the evening, is about 5.5/6 miles, it took us about 5 hours with a couple breaks in between. . Another great spot to see is Wheal Cotes (discontinued tin mine) walk south along the coastal path, and there’s an amazing view too in the evening from there. Cons: . No oven in the kitchen . You get this a lot in Cornwall, but bugs! So if you can’t do bugs then maybe try somewhere with bug shields . They have a door bell with a camera, which is okay but you have to walk right next to it when entering, I personally wasn’t comfortable with it, but it’s not that big of an issue . Have to have short showers . no cleaning equipment(dishes/kitchen)

Leah’s place is everything you could ever want. Although the Hideaway is at the back of the house, it’s been thoughtfully designed so it feels like you’re in your own secluded space. Close to lots of shops, restaurants, and the local backer shop is a must to visit. We didn’t have the best of weather but it didn’t matter one little bit, getting back to the warm and inviting Hideaway was lovely, we could sit and enjoy the view and the peaceful surroundings, just what we needed. We had a lovely relaxing time and can’t wait to visit this Leah’s special Hideaway again. Leah was very responsive and all the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The place was spotless, inviting and had everything you could need. Thank you Leah for sharing this beautiful home.

The hideaway was a stunning little get away for our little weekend break. So clean and comfortable. I knew it was going to be amazing but was even better than we expected. During our stay unfortunately we had an issue with the television but Jon and Leah responded so fast and had everything sorted the same day, they were nothing but kind and helpful! Plus they have a gorgeous little dog ;) this place is nothing short of perfection from the place itself, the area and the hosts. Thank you so much!
