We had a really great time at Lula’s apartment. It is well equipped and well connected to the center. There is a convenience store nearby as well. Lula responded quickly to my messages and the communication was good. It is a great place to stay for short visit in Copenhagen, I recommend it!

Lula's place is a nice flat conveniently located close to a supermarket and metro station. The flat is modern and has all the amenities you would expect in a short term rental. Lula is a lovely host and replied promptly to all our queries. Definitely recommended for couples or small families enjoying a short break in Copenhagen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est très propre, et lumineux, dans une résidence très calme. Il est en dehors du centre ville mais la ligne de métro à 3 minutes à pied nous y emmène en 15 minutes. Un supermarché Rema 1000 est également à 2 pas et très pratique avec de longs horaires d’ouverture. Nous recommandons cet hébergement à l’excellent rapport qualité prix !

Overall, the stay was not as we expected, mainly due apartment cleanliness and communication issues (with Lula speaking only in Danish and responding slowly / scarcely or ignoring requests). It wasn't all bad, as the flat looks nice, the location is well connected to the center, the area is safe - but we wouldn't rent this apartment again, most likely. Below details of what went good and what went wrong: Cons: - Difficult communication via text, as Lula doesn't properly speak / write in English - she writes in Danish instead, so it was difficult (at times impossible) to understand what she is writing, as Translate function converts the language (and we all know how that works) so 70% of the sentences I received barely made sense. I asked her to please write directly in English, so I don't have to decipher translations, but she ignored my request and continued to write in Danish, even after explaining the problem - Cleanliness was an issue. Before booking, we asked Lula specifically about this, as other reviews mentioned issues about cleaning. She assured us she uses professional cleaning services - however, the situation in the apartment was a different story: the bathroom and kitchen were not clean at all (fecal marks in the toilet, drains had green slime in them, hair all over the bathroom, food leftovers and crumbs left in the oven by other people, etc). I contacted Lula about this issue and she completely dismissed us, saying "it's just hair and the sewage can not be cleaned because of calcium deposits" - she ignored the issues mentioned, did not say sorry or offer to fix the problem in any way / send someone to clean the apartment properly. So I ended up scrubbing the bathroom myself and the "calcium deposits that could not be cleaned" from the drain magically went away with Domestos and a sponge and became shiny again (they were so dirty they were matte). - Difficult check-in due to the fact that Lula does not have a self-checkin option, she does not offer instructions about how to reach the apartment and the location saved in the announcement on Maps is incorrect and leads to another building on the same street. Because of that, we ended up waiting 20 minutes with our luggage in the rain, waiting for Lula to send the instructions and pictures about how to reach the correct building (pair that with her speaking Danish through Translate function and imagine the fun) - The apartment is quite small and we had no place to store our clothes or things: there is no wardrobe in the double bed bedroom and the single bed bedroom had a wardrobe that was completely occupied by Lula's clothes and shoes (so we had to keep our clothes in the open suitcases around the house, which was very uncomfortable) - You only get one key, so if you stay 3/4 persons in the apartment you will have difficulties with coordinating Pros: - Apartment is very close to the Vestamager metro station (5 minutes away), with direct line to the center of Copenhagen (15 minutes or so by metro) - There is a grocery store very close to the apartment with really cheap prices, named Rema 1000 - Bed linens and towels were clean and beds are comfortable. There's also heating in the house, but other amenities that are mentioned in the announcement (such as shower gel) were missing - Lula was flexible with an early check-in in the morning, as we arrived in Copenhagen around 8AM, however the check-in ended up being very difficult due to lack of clear instructions and poor communication, unfortunately
