Stay in a renovated century old farm house surrounded by 140 acres of beautiful open land. We are a working agricultural farm that has much to offer. During your stay you may see mile high corn or forever green winter wheat or lush soy beans. Sometimes the land is harvested and wide open to run around and play on. The property offers many opportunities depending on how you want the day to progress. Taking in the views from the rocking chair front porch, gathering around the firepit, catching up on the back patio. A must is the front row seat for the sunsets! For all those more adventurous bring your canoes or kayaks and float the Red River 7 miles down to the Public Access point in Adams TN. Don't have your own Canoe or Kayak we can hook you up with Red River Canoe Livery, an associated family business, who will have you floating at the next departure. Bring those fishing poles and fish the Red River or the pond on sight. Go swimming at the rock bar down at the Red River. Don't forget that sunscreen, safety flotation devices and bug spray! Explore the property, hike the trails, enjoy nature on full display. Watch the wild turkey flock, the white tailed deer frolic, listen to the river frogs and crickets sing. Star gaze for hours through the crystal clear skies. Don't let the coyotes bark startle you. Cook up great meals in the modernized kitchen, BBQ some memories out on the picnic pad. The house has 2 full size refrigerators to store all the goodies your bring. The modernized farm house offers 3 large bedrooms and 2 updated bathrooms. The master bedroom is on main level with a King size bed. Upstairs you will find 2 large guest rooms, the Blue guest room offers 2 queen beds and 1 twin. The Green guest room offers 2 queen beds. The farmhouse offers 2 full bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination while the upstairs bathroom offers a standing shower option. Both are generous in size. The farm house was built in 1924 and has had many renovations, it is perfectly imperfect with solid wide plank hard wood floors throughout, exposed original ceiling beams, displayed original plaster shiplap. You will notice the modernized touches in the kitchens and bathrooms. You feel the realms of the new and old worlds meeting.
