Some reviews noted spider webs and debris. We saw no evidence of this. Others complained about the heat system in the guest room. We’re familiar with a split system so had no issues. There are 3 different systems in that unit so maybe they were trying the electric wall heater which isn’t very efficient and what seemed to be a gas radiator which didn’t seem to have the pilot light on and also wouldn’t be as efficient. We had timely responses on the few questions we had ahead of our arrival

Location is good, but the house needs maintenance.

It is a big house, perfect for a big group. We were 16 and we had plenty of space and beds. The beds/mattresses were clean and comfortable. Pine Mountain Club is a beautiful location. However, the property needs a lot of maintenance. There were a lot of spider webs. Dirt and hairs in the corners of the rooms/stairs. Furniture and rugs dirty/stain. There is a double oven, however, the oven door for the bottom oven didn’t close all the way. A small part of the rail on the second floor was broken, it has a piece of wood covering it up but still made me nervous with my 3 year old. The propane tank for the grill didn’t have enough gas. A door in one of the rooms that leads to the balcony, didn’t lock. Another sliding door in one of the rooms didn’t close all the way. Too many details that need to be fixed/replace.

This place requires some maintenance. The house is spacious and all rooms are huge. There’s a game room and lots of toys for kids to play. The only concern was it’s not well maintained, there are lots of touches needed everywhere in the house. All the appliances are very old and I believe this place needs a renovation. Main positive is the game room and huge rooms that matches exactly with the photos posted. For the price and location, it’s a decent deal.
