This is a lovely house but overpriced IMO and the listing has some inaccuracies that future guests should be aware of. It is not, as described, an “entire villa” because the upstairs is not accessible to guests - so you only have the ground floor. The listing says it sleeps 14 but this is a exaggeration. In fact, there are 3 very good bedrooms (a double, a double plus single and a room with 3 single beds). The 4th room is a tiny room and it’s behind a glass wall in the sitting room with no curtains so has no privacy and not really suitable for adults or teenagers. The 5th bedroom is in a semi converted shed which is also a storage room - it’s perfectly serviceable but not particularly comfortable - has some issues of damp and constant noise from swimming pool heater next to it. None of this would be a problem except for the price . It’s the most expensive listing in the whole area, almost the whole island, and doesn’t compare favourably with other villas of the same size / with swimming pool/ proximity to the beach. Hopefully the listing will be amended based on this feedback , because for the right price and with a more accurate description , it is a very nice space with a lovely swimming pool and play area for kids. Good for 2 x families no more. The location is great.

La maison est parfaite et il y tout ce qu'il faut pour passe un bon séjour en famille ou entre amis.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'île d'Oléron. La maison est très agréable, très fraîche l'été, la piscine sécurisée pour les enfants, la cuisine très bien équipée. La décoration sympa. Il a y a beaucoup de toilettes / salles de bain , ce qui est très pratique. Ben a été à notre écoute / serviable avant et pendant le séjour. 2 espaces de salons de jardins + un petit coin hamac avec table et chaises pour enfants super sympa ! La localisation de la maison à 2 pas du centre de grand village est très pratique pour les courses , le manège.... La plage est accessible à pied (10/15min de marché). Nous recommandons fortement !
