We've stayed in a LOT of Airbnb properties over the years, and this was one of the best we've ever been to, if not THE best. Spotless, spacious, huuuge shower, gorgeous view, responsive host, next to a street that's accessible by taxis, elevator, comfortable bed, big fluffy towels, it has it all. You don't hear any noise (except the neighbor's rooster), and it's easy walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, and the Porta Messina. The only words of caution that I could possibly think of are that, even though it has an elevator, you still have to come up and down a flight of stairs to get to it, there's a large step up into the bathroom, and you have to walk up over the crest of a hill and then down to get anywhere, so it's literally uphill both ways. If you're mobility impaired, it may not be the best choice for you. Otherwise, I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Allessandro was a very responsive host. He met us for check in and showed us the apartment and how to work the elevator for the car. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and helped make a reservation for us for a wine tasting at Planeta, which was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable and clean. There was a washing machine and drying rack for clothes which was very useful. Bed was comfortable, queen mattress on a king platform. Basic kitchen appliances, toaster, kettle. No coffee pod machine, but the single metal pot kind you put on the stove to heat up. Had pots and pans for cooking and dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. Large shower with good hot water. Easy to walk into town and just before the ZTL zone so you don't have to drive into it. There is a coop market 5 minutes from the house. Loved Bam Bar for granitas and cappuccinos. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Alessandro

I couldn’t think of a better place to explore Taormina. It’s just a stone throw away from the center yet it is secluded like a cocoon. Alessandro is a gem, super helpful and a real pro, thanks for everything man.
