Enjoy a comfortable, elegant experience at this lovely, restored 1940’s bungalow in the charming small town of La Grange, near Round Top. The living room is lit by an Italian, crystal chandelier - the first of the owner’s growing collection in this comfortable home with white slipcovers, old hardwood floors and soft beds. Enjoy a comfortable stay near the Round Top Antique Show, the La Grange town square, or the charming nearby towns. This house is not suitable for young children. No pets. The bungalow is conveniently located in a lovely residential area of older homes and bungalows with large trees. It is just around the block from the Library and Park. It is less than 1/2 mile to the grocery store. (The long driveway eliminates the need to park on the street.) With its original “waterfall” wood siding, covered front porch, beadboard ceilings, hardwood floors, Arhaus kitchen table, freestanding tub, antiques and touches of crystal, your big-city worries will be far away as you drift off to sleep in “the best little town in Texas”. There is easy access to US-77, taking you quickly into the town square of La Grange, or toward any of the nearby, charming small towns. It’s a short, scenic drive to Round Top for shopping and dining; Schulenburg with its quirky and cool places to eat and the breathtaking “Painted Churches of Schulenburg”; the old-Austin vibe of Bastrop on the river; Smithville, the town of “Hope Floats”, Brenham, a lively town of local music and restaurants, (home of the famous Blue Bell creamery) and other small towns and wineries to discover.

Stayed at Pamela's beautiful little bungalow with my two daughters to attend the Round Top Antiques Fair. It was perfect for us, very cozy and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home and communication with Pamela was easy and full of great info. to make our trip more enjoyable.
I took my mother and sister here as a Christmas present to go to the Round Top show in the spring. First of all, we got there late so it was dark and after an exhausting drive, the porch light was on to greet us. I walked in and it smelled wonderful, the sound machines were on cricket noises (love), their was the most relaxing music on in the background etc. That's when I knew I chose the right place. They had anything and everything you needed or forgot. The beds (all of them) were like sleeping on clouds. My favorite coffee was in the cabinet with disposable cups to take on the go. The cutest little "Saloon" setup in the backyard. Seriously a magical, much needed girls trip. If you are on the fence between another property, you will not be disappointed with this one. Thank you, Pam, for being informative and responsive before we even showed up and remaining that way until the end. We loved it and my Mom would not leave me alone about wanting to write this review. Thanks again.
We love staying with Pam…the house is always clean and well-appointed and most of all consistent. We have stayed there multiple times over the last few years and it never disappoints!
This was our second stay at Chandelier Bungalow and it was every bit as magical as the first time. Pamela has missed nothing in this sweet home. It is welcoming and pristine from the second you open the front door. She has thought of everything a guest might need during their stay. Very thoughtful details throughout. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE with beautiful linens that look fresh and new and not overused. Super convenient location in a lovely neighborhood -- walk to coffee and restaurants and a quick, easy drive to Round Top. Pamela is so nice and responsive. This little bungalow is a total charmer. Looking forward to our next stay.
Pamela hosted us on late notice. She was super fast to respond and made sure we settled in fine. Her home was amazing and is one of the best I’ve stayed in. I highly recommend her to anyone coming through La Grange.

The house is a half mile from the Town Square, and a very, very short walking distance to the popular Las Fuentes Mexican Food. Las Fuentes offers indoor dining, or food to-go, including Margaritas!
Round Top is a scenic, relaxing drive, 16 miles away. Or, enjoy a less crowded shopping experience at the well-known, expertly curated Old World Antieks by driving 9 minutes in the other direction, toward Bastrop.
If you really need a moment of peace, and renewed inspiration, take the lovely drive toward Schulenburg and visit one of the breathtaking painted churches.
