Great Stay. Beautiful Marsh View. House was perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Beds were amazing. The great room with fireplace was a perfect place to visit with family late into the evening. If i return to Darien I will be staying at Emma’s Farm.

Amazing spot. We stayed at the Hatcher house and were over the moon. The house is so well done and cared for. The dock and pool house are so great to have on the property. John was super responsive and helpful. Can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely beautiful setting, and Hatcher House (?) was beautiful, interesting, with a big and well-equipped kitchen that worked with our "everybody pitches in" style of cooking. Everybody loved the pool and pool house (including the fiddler crabs). The porches facing the marsh were perfect for viewing the "super moon". My children are already planning a return visit during a cooler season that might include some of my great-grandchildren. We didn't catch any fish (the gar took all our bate), but it was fun fishing off the end of the long dock. We did catch few crabs in the crab trap and they were especially delicious. The TV set was turned on one time to watch the cooking show that was filmed at Emma's featuring a well-known Savannah chef. Other than that we were way too busy to sit and watch TV. Walking, bicycles, cooking inside and out, fishing, swimming, crabbing, and sitting on the porches talking. Most frequent comment? "It's so peaceful here."

The absolute best Airbnb experience I’ve had in years. The property was beautiful, the host/staff were incredible, the cabin was amazing. Would absolute recommend. Five stars. Will be back!!! Thank you for hosting us!

What a find! We were looking for a weekend getaway and boy did we find the perfect place. They set the gold standard for all future Airbnb hosts! The Hatcher House is a beautiful cabin on a amazing piece property. The ideal setting for a relaxing weekend. The cabin is beautiful, rustic and spacious. They have really taken care of this place! It had everything you would want plus more. We really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a handwritten note upon our arrival, with a bottle of wine and charcuterie board. If you are looking for something remote and in a small town, this a definitely the place. We highly recommend it!
