Fully renovated, open plan, 2 bed-2 bathroom deluxe beach front apartment with breathtaking ocean and coastal views on the 26th floor in the Iconic Peninsula Resort Apartments situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise and walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, light rail and of course the beautiful Surfers Paradise beaches. The Peninsula is a secure resort style complex, with facilities including four pools, a play area, sauna and spa, gym, tennis court and secure parking. Fully renovated deluxe style apartment with panoramic uninterrupted ocean views situated on the 26th floor of the Peninsula Building. The apartment is opposite Surfer's paradise patrolled beach. Features include 2 bedrooms main has a queen size bed with en-suite, hair-dryer, walk-in wardrobe, and smart T.V./D.V.D. Second bedroom has a double and single bed and a built-in wardrobe and T.V. The living area is open plan kitchen, lounge/dining all facing a wrap around balcony with mesmerising ocean and coastal views (when in season you can see the whales with your binoculars). There is a 55" smart T.V and Hi-Fi system with a DVD and a USB card reader. The kitchen is modern with ceasar stone bench tops and fully equipped including dishwasher and microwave oven. Also there is a separate laundry with washing machine and dryer. All the rooms are air conditioned and contain ceiling fans. Free secure under cover parking is also included free of charge and free Wi-Fi. Not only the apartment has panoramic ocean views during the day but also at night the promenade on the beach is all lit up enabling the guests to see the waves and all the entertainment, fireworks (available certain times throughout the year) and night markets (available on certain days) are all just across the road from the apartment. Guest access * Indoor Heated Pool with spa * 2 Outdoor salt water pools one heated with spa and children's wading pool. * Gymnasium fully equipped. * Sauna. * 1 full size tennis court and one half size tennis court. * BBQ amenities surrounded by tropical gardens. * Children's playground. * Undercover secure parking free of charge. Other things to note To All Guests Fire evacuation system activation - The smoke detectors in our apartment only warn the occupants of that particular apartment. There are smoke detectors on every level above the fire stair doors if for any reason the smoke moves from our apartment into the foyer area this will set off the building fire evacuation system resulting in Queensland fire personnel arriving and a call out fee of $1200 paid by the person who caused the activation.

We had stayed in this apartment building on a previous trip and wanted to stay again. The location is good, the kids enjoyed the pools. The apartment itself is updated and very comfortable and overall we had a nice stay. There were a couple of slight negatives, there were multiple times throughout our stay that we could not sit on the balcony or have the doors open due to the amount of cigarette smoke coming from the neighbours, this also has left a bit of a smell throughout the apartment. We contacted the host for a maintenance issue and we were told they would come either that day or the next and we would receive a phone call, we went down to the pool and upon coming back the maintenance people were in the apartment without any notice/phone call

The apartment had beautiful views and walkable to surfers paradise central location. Building had indoor heated pool and standard pools outdoors with a small gym. Gym had decent equipments such as cable machines, dumbbell racks upto 40kg and also barbell options and plates. Location is a 5 minute stroll to central shopping area and just across the beach. Parking is also available on premises and heaps of parking outside the apartment for guests. Certain things which we feel could have been improved are inclusions of hand wash and bath soaps at the least or even shampoo and conditioners. Or mention it in the listing so guests can come prepared. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would definitely consider it once again.

Amazing stay! Beachfront and ocean view, clean apartment, better than photos, spacious, both smart TVs with youtube (essential with a kid), kitchen fully equipped, all 5 pools are fully opened till 10pm, beach just across the road. Requested for photos (kitchen pots, pans, cutlery) and had to follow up multiple times over a month and finally got them the night before stay. Not a major issue, just something to keep in mind when making requests. Will definitely book again.
