Stayed here on work, at 1am a loud alarm started going off and woke everyone up in a panic. They have a audio listening device that had fallen over on a shelf hanging by the bathroom (fallen because the shelf is slanted ready to fall off the wall) “Audio monitoring system malfunction, check device” rang out at 1am, 3 hours before my 14hr work day started. The house has a storm door, and door inside of that. The house reeks of animals so we left the door open, and storm door closed. My phone blew up with concerns about the door, because the neighbors were watching us. The listing describes washer and dryer, well the dryer doesn’t work, found that out at 4am when I had to put on wet clothes to start my work day. The bathroom tub doesn’t drain properly, and the sink in the bathroom was broken as well. The entire house must have recently been “remodeled” by the lowest bidder. Toilet seat slid everywhere, dirty plunger sitting on the hvac vent blowing poop particles all over.

We really enjoyed our stay at Timothy and Aja’s place. The home is well laid out and well appointed. Kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms all had clean surfaces. Two of the three sleeping arrangements are up stairs, so be aware of that. There are multiple areas to hang out: a porch at the main entrance, a small sunroom by the kitchen, a seating area out by the driveway, and a large (half wild) backyard. All of these places would be excellent in good weather. We stayed here to capture the 2024 eclipse, and the large driveway / parking area proved perfect for the occasion. The house is on a main road, and traffic noise can intrude, but we had no issue with this. If you have a pet, watch out for them getting under the kitchen island or the beds. Timothy and Aja are proactive and responsive hosts, and I think that their place is a good option if you are staying in the area.

We enjoyed our stay, it was convenient to visit the areas we needed to go to. We look forward to staying at one of his other locations next time we return to Ohio.

Our stay was fun! We wanted to be near Dayton but somewhere quiet. This was perfect. Timothy was responsive and quick when work required us to extend our stay.
