Spacious, clean, and close to the Cherokee entrance to Great Smoky National Park!

What a stay! Absolutely one of the best spots for a getaway. We visited to attend a wedding, so we only stayed a few nights. I wished we would have booked longer! It’s nice and quiet and peaceful, but also has so much to explore. Asheville is only about an hour away and has some sweet spots. 10 minutes away is the Cherokee Reservation that was an honor to visit. All Fried Up had some of the best food we’d had on our multi-city road trip. The bookstore next door had so many important publications. The cabin itself was so stinking cute! It rained on and off, so we sat on the front porch and read our books from the bookstore. The downstairs bedroom is my absolute favorite space! I also loved and appreciated being able to see how the home was built. I can’t leave a review without mentioning Brenda, our amazing host. She was very communicative and friendly from the moment we booked until the very end. I love this lil cabin in the mountains and can’t wait to stay with Brenda again!

Brenda was very friendly, and responsive. House is cozy, had snacks and coffee. Had games for my daughter to be entertained. The only reason we did not rate a 5 was because of the bathroom situation. Upstairs is just a tub with no shower. Downstairs was a tall jacuzzi tub with shower but it was hard for my elderly father to get in and out of. Would not be good for older or physically challenged people to bathe. Water pressure was pretty low. We like to take long hot showers after long days of hiking, so it was kind of a bummer. Location was great and Brenda was very accommodating to any issues we had. Another note, the cabin has lots of loud creeking noises, but you get used to it…no big deal.
