My family of three had a nice stay at Villa Tobe. It is a lovely, restored home on a beautiful, quiet street. We stayed in the Cielo Suite which has two bedrooms, one bath and a small kitchenette with a minifridge and hot plate. The suite was clean, the large bed comfortable, and the shower was nice with plenty of hot water. There was a cute, shared balcony with pretty views of the mountains and lake. There is a charming wine cellar on the ground floor of the house, and we bought a few bottles there during our stay. The Magnolia restaurant around the corner was our favorite in Menaggio. The walk down to town is on a small pedestrian path that has gorgeous views of the lake and a small waterfall. Walking the same path back up to the house will help you stay fit. I was most impressed with the helpful owners, Benedikta and Tobias. They picked us up at the port so we would not have to carry our luggage up the hill. They offered several helpful tips, and were very responsive.

Logement agréable pour quatre voyageurs. Quartier paisible, avec de bons restaurants, à 20min à pied du centre. Hôtes vraiment sympathiques, de bons conseils et très réactif. Merci pour ce beau séjour !

Lovely clean apartment, beautifully renovated in a very quiet area. Sleep quality was great (the uphill walk home also helped with that)!😂 Wonderful hosts who helped from the outset with our travel plans and also very kindly picked us up from the ferry port & dropped us back again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😀
