Our family loved staying here and our kids were sad to leave. The house was very clean, had stunning lake views, and had so many fun things to do indoors. The kids loved playing with and building the train tracks in the screened in porch. We also enjoyed take out dinner there. We played board games, air hockey, and video games. We made smores outside at night at the fire pit. The rooms and beds were very comfortable! We were expecting a rainy weekend but fortunately, the weather was great and we were able to enjoy lots of outdoor time and amenities. The beach was a lot of fun for sand play and for the kids to splash in the shallow water. Arezio is a very responsive and generous host, treats and surprises were left in the fridge, freezer and bedrooms. We’d love to return in the late spring / summer. This was the perfect mini getaway not far from home that felt like we were in another world.

We had a fantastic time at the Anderson’s house. Areizo was extremely responsive, generous and flexible with our arrival schedule. The house was spotlessly clean and very well-stocked with every possible kitchen item you could want. There are plenty of games and activities and even drinks and snacks for guests. The backyard has all the space you’d need for hanging out with family and friends. The kayaks, canoe and paddle boards are in great working order and perfect for exploring the lake, fishing, or exercise. Over our two day stay, we had fun catching many bass from the dock and while in the kayaks. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the back and lake. Thank you, Areizo for a wonderful weekend getaway from the wild world of DC suburbia.

We had the most wonderful time at Areizo's place. The house and the grounds are beautiful and very well-maintained. We loved the upstairs screened-in porch, as well as the porch below which remained cool when the temperature rose. The many basement amenities kept our tweens and teens entertained during the hot hours. Having the lake accessible at the end of the yard was incredible - different people could go for dips at different times without needing to coordinate and we were able to go for short dips which we would have been harder to justify if the lake was further away. Our 5 year old son loved the sandy area and the grown ups appreciated the long chairs, hammock, and umbrellas. The lake is not deep at all in front of the sandy area, so young children can safely enter the lake there. We all enjoyed the many floats, games, ping pong table etc. Areizo was an incredible, responsive, and proactive host. We will be back!

Perfect July 4th long weekend! The house has an incredible backyard right on the lake. The kids (ages 2-6) loved doing cannonballs off the dock, playing in the sandbox, and playing air hockey inside. We'll be back again next year :)
