Small Fry is simply a little slice of holiday heaven set in beautiful North Devon. We are based in a rural part of the county which is extremely peaceful. The property sleeps 4 across 2 rooms and is surrounded by woodland and rolling fields. Come meet our pygmy goats Sooty and Sweep along with our chicken's and ducks With great family attractions and beaches nearby it will be a holiday you will never forget full of making wonderful memories! Small Fry is a beautifully presented recently renovated 2 bedded property which sleeps up to 4 people. It comprises of 1 double bed and a set of bunk beds. The property is filled with comfortable soft furnishings, including all the small things which make your stay extra special. Expect free range eggs (from our girls of course!) on arrival, along with locally sourced milk and all the other basics to get you started on your holiday! Enjoy cosy rainy Devon days snuggled up on the sofa watching a film on Netflix or when the weather is nicer enjoy sitting in the cottage garden which overlooks the paddock and woods. The summerhouse is a stones throw away from the property and is perfect for al fresco dining or some family time enjoying the great range of board games. Let the children have fun playing in the Wendy house complete with its own play kitchen. (We kindly ask that you tidy and leave the wendy house as you find it when you have finished playing!) Our pygmy goats Sooty and Sweep just love attention. If you are up early enough then come join Judy in waking up the animals! Feed the goats, chickens and ducks. You can even collect the mornings eggs too! We ask that parents and carer's please join their children for this. Whether its den building in the woods, chilling in the summerhouse or hanging out with the animals you are sure to have an amazing break away. There are fabulous attractions, walks, sight seeing and beaches nearby which Judy will be more than happy to chat to you about or you can find more information about them in our guest book below.

Wow what an amazing stay. The initial booking process was straight forward and Judys communication was outstanding. She was so accommodating and even agreed an early check in to enable our little girl to nap. The instructions were easy to find and the accommodation was immaculately clean. There was homemade bread and eggs waiting for us which was a lovely touch. Our little girl enjoyed playing in the play house. We enjoyed all 3 evenings in the summer house with the fairy lights lit and heater on which made it feel so special and different from home. Judy helped our little one feed Sooty and Sweep along with the chickens which was great fun! We advise to take your wellies as there are muddy patches and puddles to splash in! The kitchen in well equipped and all the appliances are immaculate. I have never seen an oven so clean!! The bed is so comfy too and the shower amazing Thank you so much to Judy for welcoming us into your beautiful property. We very much hope to visit again!
We had a wonderful stay at Judy’s cottage. It was a 10min drive to Westwood Ho beach and the big sheep both places we enjoyed going too. My little girl loved the little play house and of course having the freedom of farm life with the animals. We were welcomed with some eggs, fresh bread and milk which was lovely to have after a long journey. We will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you Judy
We had a fantastic stay at Small Fry Cottage, such a beautiful place, the location was great, peaceful and the cottage was perfect, it had everything we required. Judy is a great host and was very helpful if you required anything. Our daughter absolutely loved feeding the animals with Judy , picking apples and also playing in the Playhouse. We would recommend staying here and would love togo back.
Took my 2 year old son here, and can’t fault the place, we loved every minute. Judy was amazingly helpful and was happy to feed the animals with my son. The house was perfect with everything you need for a perfect holiday

Hi I am a mother and Nanna, I have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy walks in the North Devon Countryside. In the past I have loved to travel and have visited many places. I am at my happiest when I spend time with family, friends and hanging out with my animals. I love good quality red wine! I like to go to the theatre and cinema, eat good food and when not working just relaxing. I also love to meet new people
