This is a great spot - spacious and peaceful with everything you need. Particularly suitable for guests with mobility issues - all on one level with no steps and a very spacious interior with wide doors. The shower does have one step. Also a great spot if you’re not sure what the weather may hold as the outside area is covered and sheltered from the wind. The bedding was excellent quality. There is an AMAZING Asian restaurant 1 min walk from the chalet. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star for communication is because all of the messages were clearly automated - not the nice personal touch I am used to from other AirBnB hosts. But everything was very clear and I never had to ask any questions. My only other annoyance is that the checkout message asks that you don’t leave a review if you had any issues, but to write to them directly instead, which kind of defeats the objective. Nevertheless - highly recommend and we will be staying again.

We had a lovely stay in the Heron lodge. Ideal base to explore the surroundings from. Tracey was really responsive and helpful.

Beautiful location, and a beautiful well kept lodge. Was amazing having a BBQ overlooking the river at night, and visiting all the beautiful local towns.

Beautiful cabin in a brilliant location right by a lake and has lots of things to do, places to eat nearby. We fished at the lake with our young children and had a great weekend here. It was very peaceful and quiet there and the cabin itself was very nice. Was generally clean although it could do with a deep clean to deal with spiders webs, dust and the outdoor bbq. All in all we had a great time here and would stay again if in the Cotswolds. Check in was easy and good info given by the host. Thank you tracey, just the weekend we needed before back to school chaos!

This was a fishing trip for 4 brothers. We couldn’t fault the accommodation and the fishing facility was superb. We’ll be back.
