This ground floor apartment has a cosy open-plan living area, incorporating living area, dining and kitchen area with sofa seating and Smart TV. The small dining table for two by the window is a lovely area to sit and have breakfast, and the kitchen area is equipped with all you could need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom benefits from a super king size, comfortable bed which can be separated into two single beds if needed. The en-suite shower room has been recently refurbished as well as the rest of the apartment and is accessed from the bedroom. Driftwood is situated perfectly for access to nearby Goodrington Beach, easily within walking distance. The towns of Brixham, Kingswear and Dartmouth are all great places to visit nearby, as well as Torquay with its marina and beaches. Free WiFi Can comfortably fit up to 2 people

Location - 10 out of 10 The issues ; central heating didn’t work and it was so cold we had to sit with the oven on and the door open. Cottages . Com were VERY difficult to get hold of, when we eventually did, they told us the out of hours person would come and sort it out which of course didn’t materialise. Air b n bthen contacted the owner who came out with electric heaters. Then there was an issue with the lights (which wouldn’t turn off). The WiFi only works in the living room - not the rest of the small apartment. There was black mould around the windows, the back of the curtains and on the ceiling. The biggest issue by far however, was the noise from the family in the upstairs apartment. There is clearly no soundproof and whilst the family weren’t noisy you could hear every single movement and the small children playing and running around. Not their fault at all but I would say the place really isn’t fit its current purpose. All in all a little too ‘fawlty towers’ for our liki
