Our stay at Simon's home was met with quite a few challenges. For starters, the listing shared very little about what the home and what was included. What made things even more difficult was the host's lack of communication and timeliness in responding. Little things, like the address being incorrectly written in the listing, hours of the staff, the wrong internet password was provided, when both my husband and I needed to work. The biggest issue was that one of the bedroom's had no air conditioning and it took almost three days to get it fixed. That same bedroom had no hot water the duration of our stay. We explained this to the staff on the first day, but since they did not speak any English and the host was delayed at communication, this put a real damper on things for the guests staying in that room, which was basically uninhabitable. Also I've never stayed in an airbnb where the host literally clears every single condiment in the kitchen, we weren't allowed to use anything!
