This was a super nice bed-and-breakfast and I stayed in a room on the third floor. Every guestroom had a keypad for privacy and it had an attached shower, and outside the door, a tea, kettle and small refrigerator. The breakfast were gourmet with pleasant exchanges with the hosts and other guests. I would highly recommend this lovely Victorian bed-and-breakfast. It was a treat! I am a longtime Superhost myself. I really know how to look for things like cleanliness and amenities, and they did a great job. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get up early for breakfast, but that was the biggest treat of all and the room was quiet, bed comfortable, and I slept really well.
Highly recommend! A beautiful, welcoming, elegant, inviting stay. Tastefully decorated, stunning plants, delicious food, friendly guests & hosts, and a perfect location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gananoque at Jody & Geoff's Bed & Breakfast. Right from the start, we were met when we arrived by Geoff, who graciously gave us a tour and helped us up with our luggage. This home is an architectural gem, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Our cozy room on the 3rd floor had a wonderful view of the Gananoque River and the surrounding neighbourhood. Extremely comfortable bed with high quality bedding. The private ensuite bathroom was a real surprise, gorgeous shower, robes and plush towels! We slept peacefully and were treated to a fantastic full breakfast, prepared by our host, Geoff, in the dining room. Geoff's culinary skills were so appreciated, herbal tea, homemade muffins, a smoothie starter, poached eggs "Supreme" ....absolutely Delicious !!! We so enjoyed Gananoque, took numerous walks around town, down to the St. Lawrence River , we look forward to returning in the autumn. We'll certainly be staying at Jody & Geoff's!!!
Jody and her husband were so kind and helpful! Breakfast was delicious, and we were given lots of good tips about what to do in the area. The house was beautiful and our room pristine. I would absolutely recommend staying with Jody!
location was great. the place has a small town feel and was perfect to catch up on sleep. the breakfast was well worth it and a pleasant surprise.

I currently live in Toronto and love to travel and respectfully experience places I visit as if I were a resident and not a tourist. I often travel internationally to scuba dive and have been to countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, but have also had many fabulous vacations here at home in Canada and throughout the US. My favourite dive spots: the Red Sea, Great Barrier Reef and Galapagos Islands. When travelling in cities, I really enjoy finding new music, discovering great food spots and walking endlessly to discover special spaces in a new city. While I am happiest outdoors, I tremendously enjoy galleries and museums - and am a NERD for libraries.
