Super place, great location, looked after remotely.

We had a great time in Primavera. Everything was well organized. The landlord helped us with the transfer, taxi and rental car. There was enough space for 4 adults and 2 children. The size of the swimming pool is good to chill out. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes with the toddler to the Kalamaki Beach. Also it's easy to get to Iguana, Yannis (with the playground for children) and other beaches from that side of Chania. The bus stop is 2 minutes away from the villa.

Lovely hospitable host but we had three issues . We booked as a family of 8 which the villa stated would be fine however: The hot water heater wasn’t suitable for evening showers . The handyman said there were too many of us for the tank size which meant most had cold showers or had to wait for two hours for the group each night to get a warm shower! The two bottom bedrooms don’t have air con so you have to leave the bedroom doors open at night to stay cool which is not ideal for privacy ! Finally we weren’t told of the surveillance cameras ( which were remotely operated with microphones ) in the pool area and outdoor dining area ! My wife woke up on a sun bed to find the camera pointing down watching her! ( she was really upset). Sadly the camera situation spoiled the holiday . If the three changes were made it would be awesome for a large family , that said I expect it’s perfect for a couple .
