This self-contained and stand-alone bungalow sits along our backyard with seperate driveway & entrance. The studio includes a comfortable king bed, fireplace, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, outdoor deck & BBQ. We are nestled in the national park area, with only trails and waterfalls nearby, the area is quiet making it a peaceful getaway from the city & into nature. Come prepared with food or snacks as the nearest town is Yarram, 20-minutes away. The kitchenette includes a toaster and kettle, single induction stove with a pot or pan to cook with, mini bar fridge, oil, salt, pepper, cutlery, crockery and basic cooking utensils. Tea, coffee, sugar is also provided There’s no oven or microwave so please plan food prep accordingly. - The room includes an oil heater and pot belly fireplace. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood but we can supply a 25kg basket for $25. - Large comftorable king bed comes with linen and blankets. - Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) supplied along with fresh towels. - An assortment of books and board games for your entertainment - Accessibility to Tarra River right out front of our property to take a dip on a hot day or relax and have a picnic - Guests have full access to the farm to walk around and depending on our availability, we’d be happy to introduce you to the animals and take you to feed them For couples wanting more privacy, our cottage option is further from our house, much larger with more ammenities. Our Farm We are located on a 20- acre property with alpacas, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and resident chicken babysitter, Lilly (a farm dog) . All our animals are super friendly and you can walk up to say hello at any point during your visit. We foster calves on behalf of rescue organisations on and off throughout the year and we welcome guests to bottle feed with us. You can follow us on @wild_falls to meet the whole fur family and see if we have any fosters. The animals always love attention, but feel free to ignore them if it’s not your thing. More About the Area. We live in the beautiful area of Tarra Valley which is an extension of Tarra Bulga National Park. The entire area between us and the national park (when coming off the M1) is a picturesque drive with lots of wildlife to spot. The main park entrance is a 30-minute drive from us, which includes the famous Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, and there are trails such as Cyathea Falls, only 15 mins away. Port Albert and Woodside beach are 30 minutes. We are just over an hour from Wilson’s Prom national park where guests frequently enjoy a day trip. Since we’re in a national park amidst Forrest, fern gulleys and wildlife, we’re off the beaten track. But everything you’d need - Woolies supermarket, Takeaway options, cafes and a pub is a short 20 minute drive away in the local town of Yarram. It’s a small rural town so it’s quiet at night and food options close about 9pm. Please note WIFI: There is limited 4G in the area once you hit the park area, and none on our property but we have satellite wifi which guests can use in the bungalow to stream and surf the web.
