The pillows/blankets were so old, tears/rips in them. Not enough blankets/just enough for each bed hit they were thin. Smoke detector in primary bedroom was not installed. Drain in primary shower is broken. Had to wedge something in the drain

Cheaped out on almost everything. Booked 7 days for $4k and he said we could buy more if the two roles (4 people) weren’t enough. Not enough towels, dish washer pods or detergent (2 of each). The only condiments, coffee pods, or cooking spices had clearly been left by previous visitors. The rooms were poorly lit with one very cold light bulb. During the day it was beautiful, at night it felt like a prison cell upstairs. There were no instructions either, so he sends all the info when you first book but that also means the locks don’t change. Pillows and furniture is all budget which wouldn’t be such a problem if the price were lower or he wasn’t so stingy or lazy about managing it. A number of clear maintenance items that were confusing like drain plugs that had broken and smoke alarm dangling from its electrical wires. Three stars is a stretch but it was generally clean and in a good location.

We loved the view from the property. The apartment was modern and clean! Love this place! Highly recommend. However, the blind they had by the bed fell on us and hit us and was very dangerous. Be careful if you bring kids. They promised to fix it but never did. We were ok. One frustration thing kept happening was the host respond fast and very friendly, but delay the actual commitment. So I ended up following up and that was annoying. 2 fixes needed were fell-down blind and out of power on master room. The items needed and agreed to be delivered were: coffee pods (0 pods provided), paper towels (half used one and 1 new one), laundry detergent (only 1 pod provided) during our long two weeks. So my learning is that 1. have them commit and tell them to respect your time and schedule. 2. Be clear what they ll supply during your stay. So you can plan Other items to note: 1. Living and dinning area is darker than standard 2. No electric Kettle Again, these are minor issues

Great place in an outstanding location! The primary bedroom has great city views (being on the top floor of the building) and is flooded with light all day due to the south and west exposures. Cozy living room and dining area, efficient little kitchen. The location next to Dupont Circle can't be beat! A 2 minute walk to Metro and short train ride will get you downtown in no time. Highly recommended! We stayed in February, but in summer the upstairs decks would be a great amenity.
