the place would be good for a visit with friends since they provide sufficient amenities for hangouts (even a bbq pit). however my experience as a solo traveler was a bit spooky being the only guest for the night and the whole homestay is empty (hosts live in their second house beside the building) and the location itself is quite dark + vegetations around so watching a scary malay movie beforehand would be unwise 🤣. but nothing to be worried about. location wise, its my first time in miri so im not really sure where are the main places are but by checking the map, we're around 10 mins drive to the waterfront. emphasize on "drive". aunty amy is very friendly so no worries on that.
