Great home with cozy furnishings and decor. The only downside is that we could it figure out how to control the baseboard heat in the first floor bedroom and it got really hot at night. I suggest you figure that out early in your stay. Everything else was top notch.

We loved our stay at Knot Appropriate! It was the perfect Fall weekend and the view was amazing. The house was next to the golf course which had paved paths perfect for walking. It was a few miles away from town with restaurants, etc. The house was well stocked with kitchen items for cooking, clean towels and extra blankets, and extras such as toiletries and cleaning supplies. The space was very roomy with 2 large rooms and bathroom downstairs and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It was a little too chilly to sit on the deck, so I would love to visit again in late spring or early summer to take advantage of the outdoor space.

This home is BEAUTIFUL! Pictures do not even do it justice! We stayed for a 3 day weekend and got to do some really great hikes up Grandfather Mountain (about 45 min drive), but there are other trails nearby too that the hosts list in their binder! We were just looking for an extra long and difficult one! So great for the dogs as there is a lot of space to walk them. I recommend visiting the nearby town, Banner Elk! Its super cute! Overall, great hosts, clean and gorgeous home and fantastic views!

Very easy check-in process. great communication through the entire process. Beautiful cabin with a great view and a nice nearby area to walk around.
