The stay at Rajendra‘s place was nice. We came a day to early and he offered us another room. Communication with him wasn‘t easy, but he compensated with friendliness. The description on Airbnb didn‘t made clear, that the two or three offered wooden cottages belong to an hotel- complex. There was a room service for all meals but no chance to prepare something for yourself. The meals were good. The room was good and as described, only the bath hadn‘t warm water. The view over the mountains was incredible. In the surrounding of the house we missed designated trekking tours. We had, despite of a lot of rain, a very nice and cosy stay.

I wish i could give this property a 0 star. Nothing was in place. - No room heater - if you ask! they will charge 500 rupees per heater. - This property is listed on various platforms. Not a BNB standard. - Food is bad, tasteless and we were served coffee with stale milk. - Tv doesn’t work. - there was no cattle for hot water - No internet - the blanket in night got wet due to poor ventilation and severe cold. - we checked out a day before. - All this led to cold and concussion to my parents - we immediately checked out

Thanks for the stay, if heater is provided without charge or at affordable rate,would be great.Also if geyser in cottage would be available, our stay would have been better.

Blossom Retreat is one of the good stay option in Kausani. The host was friendly and readily available on phone. Location was excellent - secluded & facing the Himalayan range. It is away from the main Kausani market area and you need a vehicle to commute. There are signboards for directions to the property all along the way, but the approach road to the property is steep. The property was well maintained and clean. it has 2 sets of rooms on 2 floors. and a big terrace on top. The rooms are spacious with double beds and seating area for 2. They also have rooms with 4 beds. Extra beds, if requested, will be mattress on floor. Bathroom has geysers for hot water. You may need to carry your toiletries as only soap & towels are provided. Room heaters are available on request, but not sufficient for winter cold. Heavy blankets are provided though. Monkeys are a problem and you may need to guard your belongings and keep your rooms closed. Service is good and the caretaker's response is prompt. Food is tasty & reasonably priced, though limited in range. You may have to order in advance as vegetables have to be brought from the market. Overall, it was a good stay and memorable.
