The good things - great location, plenty of space. The bad things - I wouldn't describe it as luxury. It's dusty and dirty, not well cleaned, and there is lots of , presumably, the owners' stuff crammed and jammed in messily around the place. We had to clean a bit of stuff before we used it. Could be really great except for the above.

This home is very unique & very big! The location cannot be beat! The only thing negative I can say is that it is advertised as being a “luxury” home & by my standards it is not luxury. However it is very clean & perfect in all other ways and the perfect place to stay while in Venice!

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful city, couldn’t wish for a more perfect position on the Grand Canal, watching Venice life pass by while having a Veneto Pino Grigio . The apartment is very large and historic, placed in a Grand Palace. Private Dock for drop off and pick up makes it very convenient. Thank you Karen for your wonderful hospitality. David

We booked same day so we accepted that place was not quite ready. Karen & her caretaker were quick to respond to our questions & totally helpful with helping us get to the apt and get us to the airport when leaving. (FYI - we had a 9am flight & it is NOT easy getting to airport that early). The place had window seats with amazing views - we drank our coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings looking out the windows. Loved this. Very walkable - great restaurants & grocery store minutes away. Rialto bridge was 10 minutes (could see from window) & 10 minutes the other way was St.Mark’s square - loved this too. But the place is not “luxury” (sorry). Unusual setup - you arrive walking into what looks like part of an apt that a person lives in on main floor then go upstairs through a glass door to 2nd floor with decor that is adequate/average. I used a hairdryer that was ducktaped. One shower was moldy & another had doors that barely opened to fit through. Overall great location & host.

Spacious apartment, great location, breathtaking view, historical atmosphere. Overall - excellent.
