Jessica is a warm & wonderful host, and the cottage was cozy and welcoming for all members of our family, including our pup (we brought our own supplies, but everything we might have needed was provided). The listing was accurate, yet didn’t quite capture just how peaceful & beautiful the property is. Since our visit coincided with a winter storm, we weren’t able to fully enjoy all the outdoor amenities, but we had such amazing family time—movie & game nights…The location was perfect for walks and close to everything we could have wanted The kitchen was perfect for prepping meals, and the bedrooms were so comfortable. And, waking to the gorgeous sunsets over the lake was such a treat!. It was a memorable Spring break for all of us, and a highly recommended adventure.
We had a wonderful stay at Koselig Cottage. The home is beautiful, relaxing and cozy. Close enough to great restaurants and coffee, but they provide everything you need to make a nice dinner or latte at the house as well. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Friendly, active, safe and dog-friendly neighborhood. The homes are up high upon the bluffline creating amazing lakeviews from the home. Although the home feels very private with the trees, please note that the homes are close to eachother. Conveniently located near everything the Twin Cities has to offer.
There's lots of wildlife for being in the city! A large variety of birds, rabbits, chipmunks, and squirrels. On a rare occasion, you may see a racoon, deer, or a red fox!
This area once consisted of small cabins and dirt roads. Today, you'll see a lovely mixture of homes built in the 1930's-1970's, as well as, new builds, and original cabin homes. Very quaint and unique neighborhood with lots of character.
The home is also located on a nice walking path along the lake that connects to the Luce Line Trail (0.3 miles) and West Medicine Lake Park & Beach (0.5 miles).
Please note that there is a moderately busy road below the bluff (depending on time/day). You may hear some traffic noises. The road must be crossed to access the home's private dock and lake access.
