The place is a mixture of modern and outdated. The bathroom and backyard felt newly renovated (including a bidet attachment) but everything else is quite dated and well used. It has all you want in a cottage like a fire pit, on the water and a place to sleep! However, 2/3 of the bedrooms have an A/C unit in the room but one of them did not so was much stuffier. You can hear people moving around quite easily as the floorboards would also creak when you moved around. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the paddleboat as there was a hole in it when we arrived, but the canoe was great. The water is definitely more seaweedy so not for everyone! Backyard also was not the best maintained, with longer grass in spots and tree branches making it hard to walk along the path. We didn't find this to be too much of an issue, but just for awareness. Sam was a great host and was very responsive and accommodating. We had a few hiccups but he was quick to respond and tried to help us best he could. Thank you for letting us stay at your home, Sam!

Great value, Sam was great host and always available. This cottage has all that you need for quiet and relaxing time, place was extremely clean. Air condition system was amazing. Beautiful views of the lake and I enjoyed fire pit. The cottage is very well maintained, and I found whatever I need for cooking in kitchen. Highly recommended and I will be back on winter.

This cottage is not worth the money they are asking. The location is nice and that’s where it ends. 5 step cleaning process was lacking. We left it cleaner than when we got there thanks to my wife. This cottage is run down, needs some work with some better furniture to justify the price they are charging.
