Fun rustic farmhouse that had what we were looking to end the summer with, big pool for the kids, chef’s kitchen for hubby, cute farm animals and outdoor space for me. This is not to far from Portland to spend a day there but far enough away to get the peace and quiet.

The house was very characteristic, clean and welcoming, exactly as expected. A very nice kitchen and good appliances. It is a very tranquil house in an equally tranquil setting. Elizabeth was helpful to us throughout our planning. I would certainly return.

Elizabeth was lovely & generous and even brought us fresh eggs. The pool was a very nice. The kitchen was defnitely beautiful, functional and stocked with spices, basics & cookware. Excellent hi-speed internet. The house was charming & essentially comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful. Great washer and dryer allow you to pack lighter. The house is literally a couple hundred years old, floors will creak and stairways can feel a little steep. One Caveat: the AC units are small and will work hard if it gets hot. They will not have much impact on the temp downstairs. In July, we could get by with the fans. But it was humid and the in some areas of the home smelled slightly musty. Consider if you're from an area of the country that relies on Summer A/C Very evident that we were staying in someone else's HOME. We checked a few dresser drawers and they were full of clothes so expect to dress out of your luggage. Fridge was somewhat full of food.
