This is a beautiful home in a great location. We had a few issues with the amenities that we shared with the host. Provided these get corrected, this is a great place to stay. We look forward to giving it a 5 star next time.

This is an absolutely beautiful historic property. We were looking forward to enjoying a hot bath in the claw foot tub and relaxing after a long drive. When we arrived the street was under construction and the door was bolted from the inside. I contacted the host, she responded quickly and offered us a different unit for the night. We unpacked and settled in and discovered there wasn’t any hot water. I contacted the host through the app and did not receive a reply. Gratefully the host had called me during the earlier issues and had their number in my phone. While they did not answer they did reply to a text and replied wow. They were able to arrange for a plumber to come the next morning. The plumber identified the issue and it was not a quick fix. We decided to just shower when we got home, a seven hour drive away. We did not hear from the host. No apology or note. I waited a couple of days sent the host a request to discount the rate due to the lack of hot water and did not receive a reply. After years of using Airbnb, this is the first host I would not recommend.

We LOVED staying here! The history, the comfort, the warmth, all the little details. I am actually from Cambridge and had no idea that such a jewel existed in my hometown. You are one block away from some of the best antique shops in Ohio. If you stay at Christmastime, you HAVE to check out the Courthouse lights, also just one block away. I am so happy to have found such a beautiful place to stay when we head home to visit family. Hands down, this was one of our most memorable trips and that's saying something when it's a trip to your own hometown! Thank you Carol!
