We had a lovely time in Karen's bright boat. The boat was clean and of good size for a couple. Karen was very nice and friendly. Perfect for a cute boat experience. Good way to discover a different face of London and its canal.

we would just like to say how wonderful and relaxing our stay was in this beautiful narrowboat. we miss it already and would love to come back and stay soon. it was so lovely staying on a boat and experiencing a different way of living. karen was a fantastic host greeting us on our arrival to explain and show us around the boat! he answered all our questions we had and made our stay very smooth. thank you again. we hope to be back again soon.

Hi, Karen was super helpful and very flexible as we had to drive down on the Friday so arrival time was not certain. The boat was in a great location and worked really well. Boat was great for 2 people and our Labrador. Great stay. Karen is a great host.

This was an experience unexpected and supremely satisfying. If you come cross this listing take the chance and book. Karen will go above and beyond to help make you feel as part of the neighborhood. There are some things the posh may not appreciate so understand where you are staying! Van life has nothing on boat life and this is perfect for the solo traveler or a close couple Cheer again Karen and thanks for the coffee and crackers 🙏😊

We loved staying on the boat and even more, we loved Karen and his care for us as guests and his obvious love of his former water home. The 45ft canal boat has everything you need, it’s cosy and warm, has a very comfy bed, quirky and a brilliant alternative to your more conventional London stays. We were moored near London Fields next to Broadway market. The location was all that London represents- yummy food from the market, good pubs, friendly folk and the buzz of the east. We are excited that next time we book, the boat might be somewhere different for us to explore! Karen took such good care of us, introducing the boat and the care guide for it (you need to be prepared for being on a canal boat so different toilet systems) with patience for us newbies. He was on hand for anything we needed and just all in all, the most pleasant and friendly Airbnb host to date (and we’ve travelled a lot!). Thank you for everything Karen. Please do stay on this brilliant boat and enjoy the canals of london. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see london from a different view and take the calm of the water into the buzz of the city.
