Friendly B&B in beautiful Dartmoor National Park market town hosted by Jo & James. Full English breakfast included in the price. Centrally located in Devon, minutes drive to the moor, half hour drive to the sea. Walk to local shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, art gallery, potteries, motor museum, church, Wray Valley trail. Next to public outdoor swimming pool. Comfy double room, en-suite, TV, welcome tray. Use of garden, lounge, dining room. Good dogs welcome. Free parking & wifi. Bike storage. Lovely, clean & comfortable private double room upstairs within friendly family, modern detached home. Window looks out to quiet residential street. Room has a lock and a private en-suite with a good shower, a TV, a well stocked welcome tray with mini fridge, hanging & drawer space, and a small dressing table / desk with stool. Dressing table / desk has a hairdryer and also a plug socket for a laptop within reach. This is the only b&b room currently available at the property.* Travel cot is available for babies under 12 months, although space is limited in bedroom with cot in place. Up to 3 well behaved dogs welcome. One dog welcome to sleep with guests in their room, or if more than one dog, in the hall area with stair gate downstairs. Dogs are not permitted on any of the furniture. Downstairs, guests are welcome to use dining & lounge areas, downstairs toilet, and garden, all shared very occasionally with the hosts. Dining room is private during breakfast for b&b guests only. There are two areas with help yourself breakfast items, including a self service toaster. The full English breakfast / vegetarian or vegan full English breakfast, or cooked alternative, will be served by the hosts to you at the dining table, or in fine weather in the garden if you would like. There is plenty of space in the dining room / on the patio for your own travel baby high chair if you have one. After breakfast the dining room will be an open shared space where guests are welcome to bring take away food, play board games, or to work. Garden has a patio with garden dining bench furniture, and a raised small lawn with a pretty wooden gazebo, with small bistro dining set. Please note garden has a few very steep steps up to the lawn & gazebo. The garden is completely fenced/walled and secure. Guests are welcome to use the giant Connect 4 game when it is set up in good weather, and please ask if you would like the table tennis table set up on the patio (weather permitting). Large lounge where guests are welcome to watch TV, read, chat, and to use the PS4, board games, guitar, and the piano. We ask that hot take away food is only eaten in the dining room and the garden, and please not in the lounge or the bedroom. Free parking space outside the front of the property / on the drive. Bikes can be stored safely in locked garage at the property. *An adjoining smaller room will soon be available, with it's own separate but private bathroom. Room will sleep up to 3 guests, with one double bed & one high sleeper single bed. This room will only be available to book alongside the main double room and not separately.
