Mike's place was clean, comfortable, and a great location for hiking. We all really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It was fun to relax in the hot tub every night and watch the deer, wild turkeys, and bunnies. There are places closer to Glacier National Park but the drive there from his place is not bad and is right by Flathead National Forest for additional good hiking. Mike is also a very good and quick communicator to answer any of your questions. Thanks for a great trip!

Mike’s place was the perfect home away from home for our first Montana trip. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Mike was awesome about reaching out to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities we could have asked for. We saw deer and turkeys in the yard almost every day. We spent time at Glacier NP which was about 45 mins to the West Glacier entrance. We found plenty of local dining options and enjoyed two meals overlooking Flathead Lake. The hot tub was the perfect way to wrap up the evenings after exploring Glacier and the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend Mike’s place!

We loved staying in Mike’s lovely log cabin home. It has a rustic vibe but very modern appliances and all the things you could possibly need! Mike was super helpful in adjusting for an earlier than expected check in and with answering my many questions quickly. We enjoyed hiking nearby Mt Aeneas as well as seeing beautiful Glacier NP! We only regret not staying longer.

Amazing location and property that is home to many creatures. Loved the deer, turkeys, rabbits. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well equipped, and all very clean. The spices on the extensive spice rack were much appreciated if you like to cook! Don't worry about packing any! Also appreciated the WiFi and smart TV in living room. While the style of the decorations wasn't what I would choose in my own home, it definitely lived up to the descriptions and contributed to the homey image of a log cabin in the woods. Right next to a well known trail (Strawberry Lake) and easy to get to a lot of places. Not too far to Glacier. Easy to get to Whitefish, etc.
