Brenda was an excellent host! She sent detailed instructions beforehand and responded to our questions promptly during our stay. We had a wonderful stay at this rustic cabin-- it was a great getaway for the long weekend. We especially loved the fenced-in yard for the dogs, the firepit outside and fireplace inside, the short walk to the beach, and of course, the extensive VHS collection! It was just the 2 of us and 2 dogs for the weekend, but this place would be fantastic for large groups. The kitchen was well-stocked with dried goods, dishes and utensils, so we were not lacking for anything. We were even the first guests to try out the new composting toilet! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a comfortable cabin experience near the lake.

Great for kids, close to a small beach, a friendly cottage community. Lots of space in the cabin with a woodstove for cold nights. The biggest downfalls were that the yard was quite neglected, the cabin not very clean and quite cluttered. But has great potential!

Good place for the price, lots of extras through out. 10 minute drive to grand beach. Huge screened in patio!
