Unfortunately Good Vibes was not a great place to stay. The room wasn't ready and someone was staying in it when I arrived. Locatiom was hard to find and host didn't reply to my request for further directions. There was no fully equipped kitchen like advertised on the listing and nothing in the room, no bin, kettle, fridge etc. The host was not always available. The room was not clean and the toilet was leaking. The shower didn't really work.

Very lovely place by a river that seems out of a poem. Ami made us feels so at home and shared her insights about life in the village. Definitely recommended for a simple and pure connection to nature.

Good vibes is a tranquil escape for those travelling The Gambia, whilst the hustle and bustle of markets and the beach shacks is awesome, you can’t quite beat sitting watching the sunrise outside your own pad and strolling down to the river for a swim in the evening. Amy is inspirational in the life she has chosen and the people you meet at her place are helpful and respectful. Amy’s partner Ibraham is an essential guide and we enjoyed our day on safari, all needs met.

Where should we start? Her husband Ebrima picked us up at our previous place and helped us navigate the confusing public transportation. Once we reached their place we were amazed by the location in the middle of the nature and their cute guesthouse. She and her daughter warmly welcomed us. Every morning we had a nice breakfast, spend the day relaxing, wandering trough nature or with their family, playing cards :) every night we had a super nice gambian dinner for a about 1$ they helped us with every and anything we needed and there was no walk too far for a cold beer ;) We'd recommend this place anytime!

Good Vibes place was our best staying in Gambia. The location is gorgeous, but more than that, Amy and Ibrahim make two amazing hosts. They were on time with the communication, picked-us up with the car and even dropped us at the closest bus station when leaving. The room had a confort that we longed for during our trip. The brand new towels, the clean shower place and the oceany arrangement of the room made the difference. The place is close to the river and the mangrove which is beautiful to see. We had a local dinner at their place, energic songs and dances around the fire. They helped us with further tips for our journey and offered great help. Thank you for everything! Wish we could go back sometimes!
