I'll start with the positives. The views were stunning! Having the full backyard and access to a "private" beach were amazing. The rocky beach was so fun to explore and we found so many fun ocean treasures. Watching bald eagles on the shore, many starfishes and, of course crabs, created a lot of excitement for our two little boys. After many hours of driving, we were greeted with zero paper products in the home. We had to drive back to the nearest store (25 minutes both ways) to get toilet paper and Kleenex, which was a disappointing way to start the vacation. We reached out to management and did not receive a call back until the next day when they offered to reimburse us for the paper products and take them with us. With our arrival on Sunday, when the call was returned on Monday, we were told no staff was available as they were on vacation and no one works on the weekends. Somewhat tough when bookings are weekend to weekend. We also alerted management of what appeared to be a plumbing leak coming from the upstairs bathroom into the kitchen over the sink. A plumber was supposed to be sent to the house to investigate, but never arrived. Because of this and a dampening ceiling in the kitchen, it resulted in the loss of a bathroom for the entirety of the vacation. The house appeared to only be top surfaced cleaned. We found litter under the couches and beds that appeared to be missed from past stays. Additionally, both bathroom shower curtains were covered in mold. All in all, the property has its positives, but our stay was overshadowed by the negatives. We attempted to coordinate with the management company to bring an amicable resolution to our concerns, but ultimately needed to involve AirBnb to address our concerns and stay. Sadly, this is not a place we can recommend given some of the property details and interaction with the management company. Should those things be improved, there is real potential for this property.

Description was very accurate. A picture perfect location with lots of privacy and waterfront views. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of rooms to get away from the larger crowd if needed.

Rent this house- so worth it!! Views, clean, comfortable, it has everything you will need and more! Such a find!!!

We have stayed at Cadillac Views three times. It's a beautiful and serene spot for relaxing and enjoying everything great about summer in Maine. Even though Surry is off the beaten path, Newbury Neck is a gem! This house is well located for hiking in Acadia and Blue Hill, exploring the peninsula and Deer Isle for galleries and shops. It's around the corner from a great friendly beach and Perry's, a famous lobster shack. We bring a boat with us and also rent kayaks to enjoy the water as much as the shore-side. It is a casual and comfortable house for our family, with great style that doesn't scream "rental property!" The kitchen is excellently outfitted for cooking anything. The WiFi is great but cell service was fine for only half of us. We will definitely be back again.
