Wonderful stay, immaculate and very comfortable. Really appreciated the ability to use the washing machine after some very muddy walks! Only slight negative is the parking was a little tight - won’t stop us visiting again though

We had a wonderful break at the Old Post Office. It's such a lovely cottage and very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed, plus very thoughtful welcome goodies from Anne. The views are beautiful, even during April showers! The local area is great for walking and it is close to so many places to explore. We brought my mum's rescue dog for his first ever holiday and he felt right at home. The little extras for dogs make it such an easy place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Nice location set on a hill with excellent views. Recommend Middleton top walk it's steep but worth it and the Red Lion too.

A Beautiful little cottage in an ideal location. We loved the fact that we could park our car up on day one and there was enough to do with in walking distance so we didn’t use the car again until we left. We stayed Friday to Monday. A lovely 20 minute walk through fields in to wirksworth with plenty of pubs and places to eat . We also walked to stoney wood and black rock . The cottage its self was everything you could want. Charming in every way . Anne really has thought of everything. The extra pillows in the front bedroom so you could sit up with a cup of tea looking at the amazing view made it extra hard to get up in the morning. A very relaxing stay and would definitely stay again

We had such a wonderful few days at this beautiful cottage - truly spoilt with the views. There were 4 people & 2 dogs staying & we felt comfortable throughout, nice sofas to relax on & a dinning table to fit us all. The cottage was very clean & had everything we needed such a pans, coffee, hairdryer & cleaning supplies etc. The walk into town was lovely as we got to see the local steam train where there is the Coop for food & a few pubs too. Easy to have dogs at this cottage as the garden was secure & great walks directly from the house. Anne was a very lovely host, quick to respond & left us with a welcome hamper! Thanks again Anne!
