This place looks like the photos and is in a lovely setting close to Mt Rushmore. We stayed towards the end of the off-season (early April). Beautiful rocks and a nice yard. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and let us check out late which was appreciated. I will say that compared to other options, this place might be a bit overpriced. I thought the location would be more serene or secluded, but it's a small pre-fab bungalow in a clearing near some other buildings. Was lovely and I enjoyed my stay, but maybe a little lacking in value.
This was our first time visiting the Black Hills and this place was amazing. Made our visit and stay very memorable! Would recommend!
Definitely a place to get away. Our visit was late in the season (November) but we found the cottage comfortable and easy to find. Our travel plans caused us to arrive in the dark and leave at first light, so I can’t comment on activities other than the location is convenient to Mt Rushmore and other sights.
This place was amazing! One of our favorite AirBNB experiences. The boys had fun climbing on the rocks and searching for the secret table. We loved the beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. It was close to both Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore and served as a great base for all our excursions. We hope to be back soon! Couldn’t recommend more!
Beautiful surroundings! Large windows to appreciate the forest! Private and Quiet. We grilled steak, watched movies after a full day at Mt Rushmore. We would stay again! Thank you Kate and Garrett!
