Just had an amazing week’s stay at Chiara’s place. We arrived very late as our plane was delayed but Chiara and the caretaker of the apartment were very accommodating. There was plenty of space for the four of us. The apartment has its own private garden and large terrace with shaded areas. It was perfect for eating outdoors. There was a handy drying rack, which as a family of four, we couldn’t have done without! There is also a washing machine, but we didn’t have the need for it. There is a communal pool for the block of apartments but most of the time we were the only four people in there! The whole complex was beautifully looked after and very clean. There are some stunning plants around. The caretaker was around every day if there were ever any questions/ concerns. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the area was, especially as the apartment was only a five minute walk into the central piazza. Chiara was a great host and responded to any queries in less than an hour.

Great spotlessly clean flat in a complex with outdoor pool. Lively private garden - beautiful! Fantastic restaurant (Thomas) in the block - went there three times. We had a great time. Minor downsides (no hand wash, shampoo, washing powder, salt/pepper/oil, etc - had to rush to a supermarket to get all that - left all of it in the flat, hope next guests will enjoy; and a bit messed up check in - Airbnb link provided for address points in the wrong place, could not find it, then we’re waiting on the back entrance, instead of front). Did not get as many suggestions as we hoped for - never met the host - which we think is important to get a few ideas and interact with locals. When asked about where to rent the boat to visit Maddalena host told “at the port”. Went there but you can’t actually rent there. Go to Conca Verde - a beautiful spot. But overall, great flat, great time.
