We had a fantastic weekend. Spent time on the dock and around the fire both nights. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. All the amenities we needed. Close to town, a winery and brewery. As a bonus we experienced the Northern Lights on Friday night. Just beautiful! Nick was great to deal with and quick to get back with any questions I had. We made some wonderful memories😊

The cottage is absolutely stunning! Nestled in a serene location, it boasts a breathtaking vista of the water. There's ample communal space, both indoors and on the dock, perfect for our sizable group. Nick's hospitality and assistance throughout our stay were invaluable and deeply appreciated. Without a doubt, we'd eagerly return for another visit.

The place was as described. The check-in experience was simple and straight forward. We had a great experience as we intended it to be. The listing was open for 10 people, there was sufficient cutlery and utensils for 10; however, it would be very difficult for 10 people to manage with 2 bathrooms especially when one of them is attached to a room. Sleeping arrangements would be very difficult unless 2-3 out of 10 are kids; there was ample space in the living rooms otherwise. The view from the cottage was beautiful; since we visited at the end of September, we were able to enjoy the at all Sunrise and Sunset view the Dark Lake had to offer. The location is a tiny bit difficult to find due to the slope of the road. The road was unfinished, when we were there; maybe the access road would be finished soon. Most of the instructions were called out clearly; funnily, I was worried if I would forget.
