Each with Private Entrance, Private Bedroom, Private Living, Private Kitchen/Bath, parking in back for one vehicle.... 12 foot ceilings, Hardwoods, leaded glass, great light, totally furnished, totally private, off-street park for one vehicle, 2 blocks to Little Five Points (20 restaurants, lots retail,markets, grocery) and ATL Beltline 2 blocks North to Freedom Parkway! Walk 10 min to MARTA train or Drive/Uber 10 min dwntwn ATL Bedroom has two queen size beds and one pull-out twin sofa. There is a pullout sleeper queen-- two twin roll-away beds are possible. Portable crib in closet. It's a Pack-n-Play Laundry if you give me day-before-arrival notice. There's a great outside porch dining area right outside your back door AND your front door. GREAT WIFI (avg 60mbps, even on the porch and backyard) TV with Chromecast for streaming your Netflix or Amazon. It's a well-put-together space and welcomes you to settle in. Plenty of walking-to destinations; walk 10 min walk to MARTA train (Candler Park Station). 8 Min walk to 5 bars, 20 restaurants, Sevananda grocery and cleaners, tailors, retail, vintage shopping!! Pets OK, $15 each, per stay (not per night), plenty of good walking around!!

I didn't realize the number of steps my 80 yo husband would have to navigate, so the first time in we had difficulty. Handrails were missing. Fantastic old home but definitely needs updates. Got up to ants in kitchen sink, dishwasher, and cupboards. Showers and pocket doors wouldn't move. Very quiet neighborhood.
Wonderful stay. Walking distance to restaurants and concert venue was perfect!

I've stayed here several times. At this point I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Atlanta.
Aside from the front steps, the banister was at an awkward angle and we were not able to use it, and the back landing outside the door, soft spot, I rate this as a Fabulous stay!!

Candler Park (historical neighborhood) has a strong sense of it's community. The bumper stickers say "30307: it's not a zip code- it's an attitude". It's "Austin-weird" , a good thing.... My grandfather used to say that once the hippies in Little Five Points had kids, they'd amble over to Candler Park, where, in the 60s they founded a, back then, revolutionary Community Garden, in the 70s a famous Co-Housing Authority, 80s charter schools, and, recently a community pool. Every year we have a Tour of Funky Homes, or a Funky Tour of Homes, depending on the mood.
Walk 10 minutes from MARTA Train!! it's the Edgewood/Candler Park station. From that station, it's a 10 minute ride to downtown.
Or catch the DeKalb Ave bus, a 1 minute walk
