This home is very big it has a lot of space and in the morning a beautiful view. However it definitely needs work. Some of the bedrooms had mold and we were not able to use them which was very disappointing. There was no running water in many of bathrooms even after she turned on the water pump. We had a very strong smell of gas inside the home and when we looked no Carbon Monoxide detectors could be found. Before arriving I let our host know that it was a group of 14 and we would need towels and wash cloths for everyone and when we arrived we still did not have that, we had to call her while she was away to come and give them to us. And we still didn’t receive it till late in the night. She was very understanding for our distaste of the experience but it was still annoying for we arrived at a very late time which left no when to go. Right before we left we wanted to get or morning tea and our coffee and found that the kitchen was locked. This didn’t end or trip very well what’s so ever. I hope that who ever decides to stay there after us has a much better experience. Ms Lissette was very nice and sweet and I appreciated that but the space needs work.

Lissette's place is, in a word, an all in one, one stop shop location. There were a couple of days that we didn't need to leave the property. Everything needed was there and provided. Lissette can and will, if allowed, provide all of your vacation needs in-house. Just ask. She is well informed and well connected within the community and can get you anything needed and anywhere needed. Barr none. She can provide meals and all other accommodations needed, and at all reasonable prices. If she can't provide it, she can get you to the most reasonable place that can. Over the course of a week, we gained a new family with Lissette, Chrissy, Chris and Susanne. We feel eternally blessed to have known them. An experience of Jamaica and life that we will not soon forget. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I will be back for sure. great way to connect to the local life. plenty of herbs and fruits on the property to have an authentic Jamaican experience. Lissette was really helpful and social, lovely spirit in hosting people.

The first thing which was amazing was the hospitality of Lissette. This is an amazing, secluded piece of paradise. Its over 800 ft above sea level and provides amazing views from the top bar. All small touches i.e towels, soap etc provided. An amazing pool. Brilliant safe area. Get a real taste of Jamaica. Lissette is an excellent host with amazing local knowledge and a connection for all your needs. The house itself should be an attraction with the beauty of it. Only 5/10 mins from Ocho rios main town and 10/15 mins from Magaritaville and the beach ($100JMD/$250JMD taxi fare) Lissette also can provide most services that you can think of at a very affordable rate. Also ask her about tours and excursions before you book elsewhere, she may just have a connection or a better more exclusive alternative. 100% my new place of choice to stay in Jamaica! Thanks!
