Beautiful place, just a five minute walk from the beach. Light and airy room, plus a lovely light spacious bathroom so it was the perfect place to get ready for a wedding. Barbara has thought of all the little details, fresh juice and milk in the fridge, a lovely little table to sit at for coffee, iron and ironing board and beach towels for a dip in the sea in the morning! Really felt like we were staying in a hotel and was quite nice to have the top floor to ourselves.

Wonderful stay in Barbara's lovely calm and quiet room. My second visit, and this time a friend occupied the upstairs room. We both appreciated Barabara's attention to detail in both rooms, both in the look of the room and what is provided . Beds really comfortable, 2 vey different ensuites, both very good - I may have to book upstairs next time in order to use the rolltop bath! But downstairs shower is lovely to use too (spacious, overhead rain shower and side showerhead too). Towels provided for beach use - so good! Great to have the small fridge with breakfast supplies. Didn't use the microwave - too many good places to eat in Whitstable but would be useful for a longer stay. Barbara is friendly and also efficient, always happy to answer queries. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly intend to return.

So glad that we found Barbara’s place and that it was free the weekend we wanted to visit Whitstable. If you’re looking for a beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean place to stay then this is the one! The room itself was gorgeous with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in (and I’m fussy 🤣), the bathroom was stunning with a roll top bath and though there was a shared entrance the whole thing was very private and we didn’t see another person the whole time we were there. Barbara provided bits for a continental breakfast as well as milk, orange juice, tea, coffee and biscuits which was such a lovely touch. Honestly can’t recommend enough! It’s one of the nicest AirB&B places we’ve stayed! Thank you Barbara x
