We had a wonderful stay. Cottage was clean and had a rustic charm. Kitchen was well equipped for light cooking (no range hood). Beds were comfortable but loft is more suitable for teens and older. Place was close and walkable to beach, which was great for kids (with beach toys, a slide and floating platforms). We brought our kayak and lake was tranquil with occasional motor boats (we were there during weekdays). Anna also lent us the paddle boards. Backyard ambience was great (decorated with lights). There are several Airbnb on the street, so the noise level could depend. Besides the beach, you’d need to drive on highway 11 to get anywhere. We appreciated the hosts’ responsiveness and friendly check ins.

The stay at The Raven’s nest was wonderful. It had all you would need for a relaxing stay. All the pictures posted were very accurate to the listing and what you get. Anna and Glen were great and accommodating hosts even leaving recommendations for some things to do in the area. Great perk was the access to streaming apps during the stay. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to all.

Anna’s place was a cozy, cottage stay for our family of 4 adults and 1 toddler. It was very easy to find and Glen allowed us to use our charger we brought to plug in our EV. The beds were comfy and the entire place was very clean. Pretty much everything you would expect to be provided was there (board games, cards, toiletries, BBQ utensils, kitchen utensils, etc). We made use of their Netflix during a rainy afternoon and we also used their BBQ to make burgers one evening. The BBQ heated very unevenly and had trouble getting up to high temps, but we made it work. The listing noted use of a kayak and that was one of the major factors that led us to book this place over another. We were disappointed to find out that there was no kayak, but Anna did apologize and said she would update the listing. We loved the bonfire. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and appreciated Anna and Glen’s great hospitality efforts like welcoming us with a bottle of wine and pie. We would book here again!
