We absolutely loved the feel & architecture in this old home (the skeleton key was my husbands favorite). It was almost fully booked so we weren’t ever alone, but the couple we interacted with most was very kind & we enjoyed talking with them very much! My only negative would be the dust/spiderwebs in a lot of corners, but with a house that big they would be easy to miss. We’d definitely stay there again:)

Lovely old house with beautiful furnishings, quaint creaks and peaceful surroundings. We were looking for a last-minute getaway, so glad we found this. Loved it and extended another day even. It is just like the photos - a great retreat! Susan was friendly and helpful. We LOVED her restaurant recommendations. The area has so many great things to see, we will be back.

We just loved this hidden gem. It is an old house and has an antique feel. Some of the reviewers can’t handle a place that’s lived-in and that’s a shame because they can’t appreciate the character! It was clean and just as the pictures show, but extremely cozy and homey. Lots of beautiful antiques and decor. Lovely large grounds, peaceful, quiet, serene. We’ll be back!

Susan’s place was awesome. If you want to stay in a house that is 103 years old and sits on Elm street then this is the place. All puns intended, it is a nice place with amazing rooms. The area is the reason I’ll continue to return.
