Great combination of being up amongst the treetops whilst being able to hear the ocean. Whilst we had booked both cottages, it certainly would be possible to enjoy your privacy if somebody else was booked in the second cottage. Bali Hai (Top Cottage) beautifully furnished with a well equippped kitchen. Airconditioned and fans. And only 4 minute walk to eateries, bus stop, swimming & jetty. A great place to wind down & enjoy ' island time'.

We had a fantastic stay, felt like being home in this beautiful cottage. Great location, close to the beach and shops. Can't wait to go back for a weekend!

We booked both of Jill's cottages for a weekend on Magnetic Island and they were both extremely comfortable and clean, in beautiful bush and tree surroundings. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the Kookaburra's in the evenings and it was an easy walk to Picnic Bay beach, with a nearby playground for the kids. Jill and Carolyn were also extremely accommodating with a late check-out on our final day and some useful supplies in the fridge on arrival! I can highly reccommend this stay :)

So glad we booked this property. We were only on magnetic island for 2 nights and as soon as we walked into the property we said “we wish we were here longer to enjoy the house”. It was like being in a treehouse, absolutely surrounded by nature, level with the treetops. Wallabies, possums with babies and amazing bird life on the front doorstep. Very peaceful, clean, comfortable. Everything felt very sturdy and of good quality and the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and more. We had both properties and both were equally lovely. Both private from each other although close, so if you had only one then you have your own little veranda to enjoy. Probably the loveliest but most relaxed air bnb I’ve stayed in. Hosts and owners were lovely and communicative.
