A hidden gem! Such a peaceful and quaint little town and this beautiful accommodation matches its charm. Daily walks and runs for the whole family followed by great coffee at Ou Meul. River cruises, kayaking and daily beach trips to Hermanus 15min away. The large swimming pool provided hours of fun for the kids with plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers to keep the adults at ease. The house staff were of the highest calibre, so friendly and helpful. I would without a doubt make a return

My family and I just had the most wonderful 2 week stay over Christmas and New Year. The house is perfectly suited for a large group (we were 10 people and a dog!). The large patio and the lap pool was where we spent most of our time when not out enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the large oven a blessing for making Christmas lunch! The daily one minute walk to Ou Meul bakery ensured fresh artisan bread every morning! Catalina was always available on WhatsApp even though busy with food markets over the festive season. The pictures of the house on the site is a true representation of the beautiful and very comfortable house! Thank you Catalina and Ronnie for a perfect family holiday!

This is truly a home away from home, so chilled and comfortable with ample space for a family with kids and dogs. An amazing pool that allows everyone to swim, exercise and have loads of fun on those hot and windy days. Catalina also makes the most delicious Mexican food if you would like her too, she treated us to a New Years feast of note! Standford is a gem, a perfect getaway to wind down from city life.
